Regional meetings are held in the Southern Region, Midwest Region and Northeast Region on a regular basis for BACW members. Attendees address a broad spectrum of issues including the overrepresentation of African American children in their individual states, and the lack of African American executives in child welfare agencies. Regional meetings are a regular part of BACW’s regional organizational process and serve as an opportunity for members to network, voice concerns, share ideas and take action. These meetings are by invitation only.
