For more than 39 years, the Black Administrators in Child Welfare, Inc. (BACW), a national organization, has worked to improve the quality of life for abused and neglected children in America. As a membership and advocacy organization, BACW advocates for culturally-appropriate services for African American children and families in the child welfare system and promotes the development and support of African American leaders in the field. BACW will host its 38th annual meeting of child welfare administrators, practitioners, researchers and other related professionals at our Annual Conference on May 27-29, 2010, Chicago Marriott Downtown in Chicago, Illinois.
