The Creative Team

Patricia K. Hill is a project manager, writer and editor with over 20 years of experience in marketing communications, advertising, public relations and web content development. For the past six years she has also worked as a counselor with at-risk children and their families and is a child welfare advocate. Establishing Words At Work in 1990, Ms. Hill has a strong working knowledge of promotional vehicles and methods, and has played a key role in the creation and implementation of strategic marketing and advertising campaigns, corporate identity initiatives, and promotional collateral including annual reports, brochures, newsletters, magazines, and web site development for non-profit organizations and businesses in the healthcare, education, and high tech industries. Prior to establishing Words At Work, Ms. Hill was a Marketing Communications Manager at Digital Equipment Corporation, a Corporate Publications Manager at Wang Laboratories and a reporter for The Boston Globe. She is the recipient of several awards, including the Publicity Club of Boston, the New England Chapter Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the Society for Professional Communicators, the international Santa Fe Literary Writers Project, and the American Association of University Women (AAUW) for professional excellence and achievement in her field. Stanley G. Roberts is the principal designer and owner of Gordon Design, in Medford MA, founded in 1991. He has worked as a senior designer in the high tech industry for over 12 years and in total, has over 20 years of design experience. Specializing in the design and development of company collateral material for marketing groups in the high tech industry, annual reports for the financial services industry and non-profit groups, fundraising materials for nonprofit organizations, marketing materials for educational institutions and healthcare marketing companies. He has thorough knowledge of electronic media (Pagemaker, Quark, Freehand, Illustrator and Photoshop) for designing and producing high quality work on time and within budget.
